Description
Explore our coastal environments through inquiry science at UNO's Coastal Education and Research Facility (CERF)! Our field-based activities are designed to help students in grades 6-12 understand the physical and biological aspects of our amazing coastal wetlands through hands-on science measurements, model building, engineering challenges, and more. Teachers choose a topic focus and we work with you to design a half-day or full-day field workshop for your students to meet your educational needs. Canoeing, service-learning projects and research-focused field trips are also an option. A limited number of field trips are sponsored through SLL's Incentive Field Trips, as part of their Service Learning Program. Check with SLL for an application.
